To build a pond, you can use our pond design, which is adapted for the largest possible bathing zone, or you can adapt it as you wish according to the space available in your garden and according to your requirements. It is only necessary not to exceed the maximum size, which is determined by the size of the pond film and 4 x 2.3 m and up to a depth of 1.5 m. The kit for the construction of a swimming pond contains: pond film, protective pond geotextile under the film, pond flow filtration including filter media, bio houses for the settlement of pond bacteria, filter sponges for coarse impurities, adjustable pump with low consumption, UV lamp against algae formation, hose connections for connecting the pump with filtration and the pond hose. After the pond is operational, the water treatment product adjusts the pH and hardness of the water so that the pond bacteria work properly. Furthermore, filter and starter bacteria - a liquid concentrate to enrich the water with especially important and helpful strains of bacteria and to create and improve the necessary pond biological balance. An effect pump, which also ensures an additional supply of oxygen to the lake and thus prevents the formation of algae. You will appreciate the aeration on hot days when a greater supply of oxygen is needed, and in winter it will prevent the lake from freezing completely and the gases formed at the bottom of the trapped dirt can escape freely. Quick instructions for the construction process (you can find the detailed procedure in the attached detailed instructions): What you need: wheelbarrow (or mini-excavator), measuring stick, spade, shovel, spirit level, meter, garden hose, sand, large and small pebbles, decorative stones, pond plants and substrate. Determine the location: mark the outline of the pond using a garden hose, sand or spray. Excavate the soil along the marked pond and put it aside (good for final decoration). Start digging: create a muddy zone (0-15 cm), a coastal shallow zone (15-50 cm) and a deep zone (from 50 cm). The slope of the individual zones should not exceed 30°. Adjustment of the edges and the bank: all edges must be level - check with a measuring batten and spirit level. Use the soil from the excavation for leveling. Lay the geotextile and film: apply a 10 cm layer of sand on all surfaces, level and lay the geotextile. Then spread the foil from the center of the pit and pull it over the edge. Create a capillary seal with a groove filled with pebbles or gravel. Place the pump: put the pump on the opposite side of the filter system for natural water circulation. Route the hose and cables securely so that the pump does not shift. Fill the pond with water: after leveling the film, plant the plants, place the equipment and fill the pond with water.
