It is only necessary not to exceed the maximum size, which is determined by the size of the pond film, which is 3.36 x 2.38 and up to a depth of 1 m. Quick guide to the construction process (you can find the detailed construction process of the pond in the detailed instructions) 1 - What you need Wheel, or mini digger, measuring stick, spade, shovel, spirit level, meter, garden hose, sand, large and small pebbles, decorative stones, planting baskets, pond plants, substrate. 2 - Determine the location Mark the outline of the pond on your property using a garden hose (sand, spray). Excavate the soil along the marked pond and put it aside (it will be useful for the final decoration) 3 - Start digging First dig the muddy zone (0-15cm) from the edges to the center, then the coastal shallow zone (15-50cm) and finally the deep zone (from 50cm). The slope of the individual zones should not exceed 30°, otherwise the soil and planting baskets could slide down. 4 - Adjusting the edges and the bank The edges on all sides must be the same - use a measuring stick and spirit level for this. Use excavated soil for leveling. 5 - Lay the geotextile and foil Apply a 10 cm layer of sand on all horizontal surfaces. Level with spirit level and batten. Then line this pit with geotextile. Place the foil in the center of the pit and start laying out the foil from there. Finally, pull the foil over the edge and create a capillary seal (a groove filled with pebbles, decorative gravel will prevent water from rising from the lintels of the foil.) 6 – Place the pump Place the pump on the opposite side of the filter system so that there is natural water circulation. Route the supply hose and electric cable so that there is no unnecessary contact and displacement of the pump when using the pond. 7 - Fill the pond with water After leveling the foil, you can plant the plants in the planting baskets and set up the equipment. Fill the pond with water from the tap or well. After 24 hours, cut off the protruding foil.
