pH PLUS is a quick-dissolving preparation in the form of a powder designed to increase the pH value of the water in a pool with salt and fresh water, when using chlorine-free and chlorine chemistry, e.g. pool tablets. For the correct and successful treatment of pool water, the pH value of the water, which is in the range of 6.8 - 7.6, is very important. In this range, the most effective action of disinfectants (chlorine or chlorine-free) without side effects is guaranteed. At a pH value higher than 7.6: Mineral (milky) turbidity may occur in the water and the filter device may thus become clogged. The content of harmful bound chlorine in the water increases, such water usually smells strongly of chlorine. At a pH value lower than 6.8: Fading of the colors of the materials from which the pool is made may occur. Causes increased corrosion of metal pool accessories and concrete. The correct pH value of bathing water also prevents eye and skin irritation, which can occur with a high or, conversely, with a low pH value. DOSAGE: To increase the pH value of the water by 0.2, use 10 g of this preparation for every 1 m 3 (1000 l) of pool water volume. The dosage is indicative, the exact dosage depends on the carbonate hardness and the operating conditions of the pool. Use this product safely. Always read the information on the package before use. Do not mix or use together with other products. Incompatible materials: Ammonia, silver nitrate, sulfuric acid, lithium, hydrogen peroxide, phosphorous oxide, fluorine, sodium sulfide, dinitrotoluene, trinitrotoluene, water, aluminum powder. Concentrated and hot solutions can have partially corrosive effects on steel. The product may only be used to treat water in swimming pools. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by improper use of the product. DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID: IF INHALED: Interrupt exposure, move victim to fresh air. If nausea persists, seek medical attention. IN CONTACT WITH THE SKIN: Remove contaminated clothing, shoes and wash thoroughly with water (preferably lukewarm) and soap. Do not use solvents or thinners. If problems persist, seek medical attention. IF IN CONTACT WITH THE EYE: Rinse with a gentle stream of water for at least 15 minutes. While doing so, keep your eyelids wide open with your thumb and forefinger. If the affected person wears contact lenses, remove them before rinsing the eyes, if this is easy to do. If pain or redness persists, seek professional medical treatment. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth and drink plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting. Do not serve milk or alcoholic beverages. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Seek medical attention. DISPOSAL: Dispose in accordance with applicable Czech and local regulations (e.g. in a hazardous waste incinerator). Never flush down the drain! Do not contaminate standing or flowing water with chemicals or used containers. Hand over residual quantities and unregenerate solutions to a proven liquidation company. INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: Keep out of reach of children. Wear safety glasses/face shield. IF IN EYES: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if worn and if they can be removed easily. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Seek medical attention/treatment.
