Instructions for use in several steps: 1. Thoroughly rinse the hollow chambers of the tester with water. 2. Then fill them with the water to be tested up to the mark. 3. Chlorine test - Cl - add 6 drops of OTO Cl (container with yellow lid). 4. Acidity and Alkalinity Test - pH - add 6 drops of Phenol red pH (container with a red lid). 5. Place the plugs on the test chambers of the tester and shake and mix thoroughly. 6. You can then compare the color of the water with the CL scale and pH values ​​right next to the hollow chamber. Recommended values: Cl - 0.5mg/l, pH - 6.9 - 7.4. Always collect water approx. 20-30cm below the surface and 20-30cm from the edge of the pool or hot tub. With the CL test, you will find out whether there is a sufficient amount of Chlorine in the water or whether you are not overchlorinated. The pH test determines the pH of the water (acidity, alkalinity). A small warning: adjusting the pH of the water must always precede the actual dosing of Chlorine, Bromine or Oxygen chemistry. Important: Perform the tests in the shade before adding the chemicals. Store the tester in a dark and cool place. Keep test chambers clean and dry. Always use new test solutions at the beginning of a new season.
